This week, I returned home from a joyous, dance-filled week in NYC. It was a delight to plug into a vibrant artists hub and allow creativity to flow freely through me. I look forward to sharing this energy with our SpaceCraft community.

Our lovely co-op member, Rowan with Tiny Stage Comedy, gifted SpaceCraft with a custom baby astro-toad! She is still unnamed and lives on a standing podium inside the space draped with a bright blue cloth. This corner of the space is home to our wee little astro-toad and the ghostly ghoul in the background. Comment any cute name suggestions you have for this gworl. 💕

Last summer, I was invited to host the annual Rhinestone Festival. This is a one day festival that celebrates all things rhinestone, sparkles, and Dolly Parton. Considering the occasion, I rounded up resources from dear friends to turn Jaleria into Jolly, a blonde, bold, red-wearing girlie! I knew Jolly was a sensational alter-ego when little black girls would shyly walk up to me asking for a picture and to dance together. I cherish this opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and emcee such a themed experience. It was a delight to be a representation for other little girls wanting to express their root-tootin’, girlie sides.
