I encourage you to care for yourself first and discover healthy ways to mitigate your stress and energy. Some of my favorite activities have been inviting friends over for dinner, playing games at the Artists Playground, and simply snuggling with my Cat.

I’m writing this message on a full moon, filled with gratitude. SpaceCraft found a home at Ironwood Studios only 5 months ago, and I am consistently blown away by the number of people who feel called to share space with us.

I work hard to build a safe and nurturing space for everyone to call home. And, as you all know, a mission of love is not always easy. It takes seeing the humanity and good intention of all around you. It takes being a mediator to remedy conflict. It takes showing up with a loving spirit, even in a world that discredits your capability.

SpaceCraft started as a vivid dream over 3 years ago. I felt isolated from my immediate community and desperately needed others to dream with. I wanted to simply create an awe-inspiring space that jolts you to the core. A space where art flourishes, joy is activated, and community is nurtured.

I share this vulnerability with you all because I want you to see yourself in this dream. I hope you feel called to share space with us and meet other creatives, who see the importance of showing up as you are. Because life is hard, and there’s no reason for you to create in isolation.

​This event is a 1 hour comedy show followed by 1 hour of open chat where you can meander through the Spacecraft studio, have a seat and talk jokes, learn about the Knoxville comedy scene and how to get involved, and to socialize with​ friends as well as your favorite comics. Feel free to byob & snacks.
