ARTISTS PLAYGROUND ARE BACK — WOOHOO!

Join us for a casual, low-stakes open art-making session with other Artists in your neighborhood. This is a lovely opportunity to stick to your resolutions to become disciplined in your creativity. ​You’re welcome to do whatever your creative mind desires, whether that’s to rest, craft, tinker, make, or shake!

All we ask is that you show up with raw enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute to the shared immaturity of the space. We promise you a rejuvenating art-making session and the freedom to enjoy a shared act of play with other artists.

I’ll keep this brief because I can talk about this experience all day. Last month, one of our cooperative members, Ethan Graham, hosted an Actor’s Lab. This was an opportunity for Actors and Performers to explore different exercises and uncover what is blocking your best performance.

I was amazed by how applicable this workshop is to my experience as a dancer. One of my goals this year is to construct pieces of a dance theatre performance, and this workshop unlocked deep questions about “what makes a great performer”?

Ethan Graham is a brilliant mind, who allowed space for curiosity and individuality within each exercise. I highly encourage you all to stay in Ethan Graham’s orbit and attend the next Actor’s Lab available.
